Our Facilities

Indoor play

All the rooms are bright, open, spacious, welcoming and are full of exciting and fun, age-appropriate equipment, designed to offer everything your little one needs to feel safe, secure and at home within their surroundings.  All rooms are tailor-made to suit each specific age group. With a variety of equipment to ensure that the children are entertained, engaged and challenged in a safe environment which caters for their every need. The large windows in each room, allow the children to look out and enjoy the variety of transport passing by.

Outdoor play

Each age group spends as much time as they can outside. Here at Beeches Park we have a secure, quaint garden for all age groups to enjoy, including sand pits, mud kitchens, planters for the children to grow their own vegetables, a playground for cars, bikes and scooters.

Forest School

Our sister nursery is an Official Forest School Nursery, which we have direct access to. Forest School is a stimulating learning experience. It allows all children to test themselves, build self-esteem and pride, develop new skills and learn the art of reflection. Experiences include den building, tying knots, whittling, construction, natural crafts, mini-beast hunts, identifying and sorting natural objects, natural mark-making and cooking on the fire.

Walks & Trips out

We love to take peaceful walks down the canal, waving at canal boats as they pass by. Having a minibus also enables us to go further afield to libraries, museums, Castles, Betty’s Farm, Garden Centres, Conkers to name but a few. Not forgetting the weekly Pre-school visits to the local elderly residential homes and Forest School.

Meals

Providing healthy, nutritious and delicious food is a huge priority to us. All our food is prepared fresh and on site each day by our chef. Children are encouraged to try all kinds of food and we use meal times as another fun opportunity for the children to develop their social skills and manners. The older children are encouraged to serve themselves and enjoy being ‘special helpers’ giving out puddings and helping to tidy up.

Security

Entrance to the nursery and garden is protected by a secure keypad system and children may only be collected by persons named at registration unless pre-organised by parents and carers on which security details are given. The nursery grounds are also monitored by 24 hour CCTV surveillance.

Parking

We have our own private car park for parents and carers to drop off and collect their child safely.
